It looks like Alec Baldwin fell into some bad luck on Monday, October 13. The 30 Rock star crashed his wife Hilaria Baldwin’s Range Rover into a tree while driving through East Hampton, New York with his brother, Stephen Baldwin.

“This morning I was in this car accident. Guy cut me off [in front of a] big garbage truck the size of a whale,” Alec told fans in an Instagram video. “To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree.”

Alec crashed on the Montauk Highway amid strong winds and heavy rain, which caused flooding on the streets. Per pics obtained by TMZ, he and his brother took photos of the car while speaking with officers at the scene of the accident. Stephen’s rep also told the outlet that he “is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.”

The actors attended the Hamptons International Film Festival the previous day, where they spoke on panels and took photos together.

Luckily, they came out of the accident unscathed—but Hilaria’s car is another story. According to TMZ, the entire front end of the SUV was totaled after the crash.

“It crushed my car, my wife’s car. I feel bad about that,” Alec said of the accident. “It’s all fine. I’m fine and my brother’s fine.” He then gave his wife, who was recently booted off Dancing With the Stars, a sweet shoutout at the end of his post, saying, “Hilaria, I love you more than anything and I’m very proud of you.”

The former dancer, who competed on DWTS with Gleb Savchenko, also released a statement on Instagram after Alec crashed her car.

“Hey, I’m getting a lot of messages about the accident that Alec was in, the car accident,” she started in the clip. “I just want you to know he’s okay, Stephen is okay, everybody is okay.”

She concluded with, “Nobody was hurt, and that is the most important thing, so I love you and thank you, thank you, thank you for caring.”
